Your feedback lives in two places for your users: the widget you embed in your app, and the standalone public portal hosted by Sleekplan. Both show the same board, roadmap, and changelog, and both are configured from the same settings. This section covers how to shape what visitors see, control who can access it, brand it, and connect your own domain.

Widget

The widget is the panel that opens from a launcher in your app. Choose what visitors land on when they open it.

Choose the widget's home screen

Pick which section loads first when a visitor opens the widget: feedback, changelog, or roadmap.

Set up a widget action screen

Turn the widget’s home into a custom launcher of tiles: create a post, open the roadmap, start a chat, and more.

Popups

Popups

In-app messages your widget shows to the right people at the right moment, including announcements and survey popups.

Public board

Control what visitors can do and see on your public feedback board and changelog.

Submission & voting settings

Control downvotes, priority, comment likes, screen captures, notifications, and automatic status comments.

Public board display settings

Set the default sort, category, and status filter, and how much metadata each post carries.

Moderate posts and comments

Hold new posts and comments for approval, and use a word list to catch submissions that need a closer look.

Show tags on your public board

Let users apply tags when they post, and let visitors filter the public board by tag.

Changelog settings

Let visitors subscribe to updates, auto-subscribe new users, auto-publish completed feedback, and collect reactions.

Access the changelog RSS feed

Every portal publishes its changelog as an RSS 2.0 feed so readers and tools can follow your updates.

Show or hide in search engines

One switch decides whether Google and other search engines can list your public portal.

Customization

Match the portal to your brand and add your own tracking.

Add custom code to your portal

Inject your own HTML, head markup, CSS, and JavaScript into your standalone portal.

Add analytics tracking

Track visitor behavior on your board with Google Analytics or any third-party snippet.

Personalize with variables

Drop a visitor’s own name or email into your widget titles, popups, and survey questions.

Access & privacy

Decide who can reach your board and how they sign in.

Control who can access your board

Keep your portal open, or gate it with a password, email domains, or single sign-on.

Show your Terms and Privacy Policy

Add your legal links to the sign-up form and require an I Agree checkbox.

Web storage and browser cookies

Every cookie and storage key the portal and widget set, what each is for, and how long it lasts.

Emails

Customize email layouts and content

Edit the HTML layout, subject, and body of every notification email Sleekplan sends to your users.

Custom domains

Host your portal and send email from your own domain.

Connect a custom domain

Host your portal on your own domain with a CNAME record and an automatic SSL certificate.

Set up a custom email domain

Send notification emails from your own domain by verifying it and adding DKIM records.

Add custom CSP rules

Extend the Content Security Policy so third-party scripts, styles, and fonts you add are not blocked.
