Canny is the straight answer to the add-on question: the voting board, roadmap and changelog that Userback sells as its $31/month Feature Portal are Canny's entire product, included in the plan. The trade is a different meter. Userback never charges for the people who submit feedback, while Canny counts every tracked user who posts, votes or comments, and its free plan stops at 25 of them.

Featurebase is the closest thing to both halves of Userback in one plan: board, roadmap and changelog, plus a real survey module whose own page names NPS and CSAT templates, so you are not choosing between the portal and the satisfaction scores the way Userback's tiers make you. It bills per seat rather than per add-on, and its free plan gives one seat the whole board against Userback's two seats without any portal.

Upvoty is the cheapest like-for-like replacement for the Feature Portal on its own: $15/month for a board with unlimited tracked users, against $29 plus $31 to get a portal on Userback. It replaces only that half. Upvoty's own features and pricing pages list no NPS or CSAT, so the surveys you would get on Userback's Business plan are not there.

Hotjar is the tool to look at if the part of Userback you would miss is the session replay rather than the portal. Since Contentsquare absorbed the brand, hotjar.com/pricing redirects to Contentsquare's plans, which list session replay, heatmaps and surveys, and no voting board, roadmap or changelog. It is the mirror image of this page: keep the recordings, lose the feedback loop.

Nolt is the opposite of Userback's packaging: a board and a roadmap are the whole product rather than an add-on to one. It charges per board, one board at $29/month billed yearly, and there is no free plan at all, where Userback's free plan exists but excludes the portal entirely. Neither its features nor its pricing page lists NPS or CSAT.

Beamer is built around the announcement widget, which is the piece of Userback's Feature Portal that most teams actually reach for after shipping. Its free plan includes NPS capped at 500 in-app surveys a month with 90-day history, a closer echo of Userback's 7-day free-plan retention than the others here, and email or link delivery needs a $99/month add-on.

UserEcho answers a different question than Userback does: it wraps the voting board in a help desk with tickets, live chat and a knowledge base, so inbound feedback becomes support conversations rather than annotated bug reports. It bills per support agent instead of per seat, which suits a team with many voters and few agents.

FeatureOS is the fuller board suite, adding a knowledge base, and it makes the portal the product instead of an add-on. What you give up is the free tier: there is none at any price, only a 30-day trial, where Userback's free plan runs indefinitely for bug capture. It also meters seats and boards separately, at $15/month for each extra one.

Mopinion covers Userback's survey side and not its portal: in-app forms, NPS-style questions and CX feedback across web, app and email, with no voting board, roadmap or changelog in its feature list. It is priced by a channel-and-volume calculator from €279/month, an order of magnitude above Userback's Business plan.

Pendo already ships roadmaps and NPS surveys under its own brand and adds the product analytics Userback does not have, so it is the step towards understanding behaviour rather than capturing reports. Only its free tier carries a number, 500 monthly active users; every paid tier is a custom quote, unlike Userback's four published prices.

UserVoice is where a larger B2B team goes when requests need to be ranked by CRM-connected revenue data rather than raw votes. It publishes no price and is sold through a demo scaled to your feedback volume, so it is the opposite end of the buying process from signing up for Userback and adding the portal in the billing screen.

Aha! Ideas is the enterprise step up, with proxy voting for teams collecting requests on customers' behalf. It prices per user with a three-seat minimum, so a small team pays more than Userback's Team plan and the Feature Portal add-on combined. Ideas Essentials starts at $39/user/month billed yearly, Advanced at $59.

Fider is the answer when the objection is paying an add-on fee for a voting board at all: it is open source and you host it yourself, so the board costs nothing beyond your own server. Its feature list covers requests, voting and discussion, with no roadmap, changelog or survey module, and the hosted free tier caps at 250 feedback items.
